TRJ 25

This was my biggest block print ever. I was commissioned by my work to make a print for the organization's 25th anniversary. I went from pencil sketching, to pen drafts, to a Photoshop composition, to a full-size pen draft, to the linoleum block. I scanned and printed the full-size drawing in 8.5x11" chunks using my office laser printer and transferred the image with acetone, which worked well enough. When finally printing I tried a wide variety of paper weights, wet vs dry paper, different amounts of ink, etc., before finally pulling some prints I was happy with. Top photo is on soaked 245gm paper, second photo is on dry 74gm.
