Brownstone

Linoleum block print of my current apartment building made from several cast-off lino blocks gifted by a coworker.

This project involved more sketching than usual for me as I worked out the dimensions of various blocks, different pieces of the facade, and thought through how I would print many times on the same sheet.

Once I had carved and printed each block I scanned, copied, and assembled the pieces to get a sense of the whole.

And then, finally, the painstaking and fun part - actually printing!
